Angling Clubs On The Ribble

I am just wondering what clubs control which section on the Ribble as I am thinking of joining one after last nights episode where I fished there where tents, kids, women and dogs like a Haven holiday camp

Warrington have two stretches

I have only fished the WAA stretches of the Ribble and it can they can get quite busy at peak times especially at balderstone

Where were you fishing? There are acouple of stretches where all night parties occur regularly. One is on the Albert stretch at Brockholes weir. I guess you arent an Albert member.

A good day ticket stretch is the Tickled Trout length. Buy a ticket at the hotel there. All the partying is done inside the Hotel not on the bank. One advantage here is that there is subdued lighting from the Hotel which makes night fishing a bit easier.

Some very big fish have been caught there.

Cheers lads I know Southport waters well as I am the webmaster for their site so blame me for the mess. Just wondering if the farmer upstream of Church Deeps still allows parking at his farm for fishermen. I had a look at the Tickle Trout streach but the car park looks very dodgey these days.
