i dont fish the west coast in winter as it is so poor... why not get yourself up the east coast during decent weather conditions for some proper cod? the only place i would go is etive, and even then I would only go on the boat

is the flounder a winter fish ?

sorery to bwe a pest but can any body tell me what the targets are . i.e flounders cod

In the winter cod are the main target for the majority of scotland. But there are still flounders present along with coalfish, dabs whiting and several others. To take an example at greenock cod and coalfish are the main target so the types of baits you would be using are say mussel for cod n coalies rag for everything lug for everything and possible squid. Does tht help any?
