Fish In France

Two of us have booked two lovely lakes in France, a 4 acre and a 2 acre for our own exclusive use from 8th-15th April 2006. The 4 acre has a very good head of Mirror and Common Carp up to and over 50lb, Catfish to 90+lb and if that’s not enough big head carp (strange looking carp) over 70lb! The smaller lake has a good stock of coarse fish (including carp to over 30lb.

The larger lake has 7 purpose built swims and we are looking for 2 friends who wish to fish in France at a top venue to fill two of them. Although we are looking for two mates if you are on your own and would like to go then feel free to contact us.

 

It includes suburb accommodation with all mod cons, (handy if we get some wet weather and great to cook a nice meal (I enjoy cooking).

We have tried to make this a week to remember going for what we believe the best.

The water is 1.5 hours from the port of St Malo, 3.5 from Caen, and 5.5 from Bolougne. The cost per person will depend on what ferry port you wish to leave from £400 to £650 inclusive. No not cheap but the best never is! The fact we have already booked the venue and are happy to split the cost between the 2 of us shows what an impressive venue this is. Having said that it would be nice to have a bit more company and have the lakes fished.

You do not have to be an expert at carp fishing (advice freely available) just the wish to fish lovely waters with good company, catch a lot of fish and maybe a monster carp. O and you can be any age (we are in our 50’s but young with it) and be sociable (very important).

Once you have made contact and have the full details we will need to speak on the phone and then you will need to part with some money (deposit). We will not hold the places for you…..first come first served.

Everything will be arranged for you. You will be sent the ferry tickets by post. All you need to do is drive to the port you choose, board the ferry, drive off and drive to the venue……then enjoy! If you choose Portsmouth we can all travel together.

No 300 fish in 6 acres there are 2 lakes!

The other lake is a mixed course fishery, is it not?

 

Therefore i think I was near enough the first time, the vast magority of the 300 'carp' are going to be in the 4 acre lake.

 

Anyway, you enjoy it.
