Uploading.

I use a music file sharing service and can download a number of files at the same time, with no variance on my PC's speed.

However, if I upload more than one file at a time, my PC slows right down.

 

Is there anything I can do, or add, to stop this happening (apart from not uploading files) ?

You have to limit your (P2P) upload to using about 75% of your maximum upload capacity. If your don't, the connection will slow, due to no (upload) bandwidth being available to acknowledge receipt of packets requested and/or sent.

 

If that makes sense.
