River Wye

Im going to be in Ross on Wye for weekend the of 25th Feb, can anyone point me in the direction of a decent bit of the Wye if I can get some time to fish.

Dont know much about the Wye and where to fish, but know someone who might. How far from Ross will you travel? Thinking of looking at that neck of the woods for myself, only 20 odd miles from me. Great barbel and piking apparently, not that I care about the pike...of course

I believe the tackle shop in Ross sells day tickets for the town stretch.
