Stuck in an Easterly

Has this never ending Easterly affected anyone's fishing? Does the old saying ring true?

It is going to be with us for another week or more.

It's true Mike. The fishing is poor at the moment. I must say that January and February are usually the worst months in the Thames estuary but the easterlies make it worse. I just checked up on Metcheck and they are still giving easterlies next weekend.

Just checked out the forecast for next friday and the wind is set to swing westerly according to the bbc forecast for Hythe. May improve the fishing a bit down here.

Iv'e got Wednesday as the day for a change in direction for Folkestone. Think I'll go wednesday night, it's the biggest tide.

Bring on more easterlies it kicks up an awesome sea up here thats really good for cod fishing!!
