Weymouth / West Dorset 15th Oct

I will be spending a week in Weymouth from 15th October onwards.

 

I was hoping all you Dorset locals could point me in the right direction for some good fishing marks while I'm there?

 

My normal haunts are:

Chesil (Ferry Bridge)

Weymouth Pier

West Bay (Bridport)

 

Last time I was there I had a quick look at West Bexington & I hear Abbotsbury is quite a good mark ?

 

What sort of fish should I be targeting / expect to catch this time of year?

 

Would really appreciate some advice from you locals & if anyone is about during the week keep an eye out for a novice sea angler & say "Hi"
