Where to kayak in UK?

I am going on a kayak fishing trip in Mexico in May but have never tried kayak fishing before. I have tried regular kayaking once, but I've been told it's very different from sit-on-top kayaks. Does anyone know a place in the UK (preferably near Bristol or in Kent/Surrey) to rent the fishing kayaks and give it a try?

The only place I know that does sit on top hire is Swansea but I think you'll be lucky to find people stood on freezing beaches trying to rent kayaks at this time of year.You should definately get some practice in somewhere though.One time on a kayak and then booking a fishing holiday where you will be constantly using one is a bit risky-----------I also hope these Mexicans supply all the relevant safety equipment
