Same tactics, same location, different results

Why is it that you can fish one day on a mark and it fishes superbly, you can go back 2 days later, same spot, use the same bait, fish the same mark, and completely blank? how many times does it happen, you say to a mate, its going to be a blinder and you end up looking like a complete wally when you both blank.

There has to be a perfectly logical 'fishy' reason for that happening.

 

But one probably needs to be as smart as the fish (or maybe 10% smarter) to figure it out and of late, I haven't felt anywhere near that smart.

Nobby fish dont stay in 1 place all the time they move about with the tides and look for food...So what did you catch the time before?????
