Well after months of breaking my back loading and unloading the P15, And not to bring up the damage to the paintwork of the car and the hull of the kayak, I can now do it one handed, well almost :) . Today in thj post came my new toy after 10 days waiting. Its the Thule 897XT Hullavator. After reading all the reports from forums in the states about the old Hullavator made by Talon I was in two minds if to order the XT or not. Well yes I am glad I did, You can see from the pics that the lift to get the kayak onto the rack is two foot, and then you just push the unit up into postion, easy. The weight of teh kayak is taken up by two dampers. Yes there is a bit of play in the system and some of the detail could be better, but It makes taking the kayak so much more fun. The best bit is I can reclaim the import tax :):) .terry

If only I had all the money for all the toys I want,;-(

Got most of them now, Just working on that Harley in blue ;-)
