DSLR with preview screen

Just had a newsletter from olympus anouncing the first DSLR to have an electronic preview screen. Will this make DSLR's more desirable to the general public and make better photos easier to shoot on full manual control. Definatly a step forward for the amature(like me) IMO.

I have just read the date on the review and it seems its been on the cards for a while.
