Help catching mullet!!

I know there's plenty of u out there who can help. I tried fish for them the begining of the summer but was told by a few of u that they feed more later in the year. On my way home tonight i cound't help but notice the 60+ mullet chasing either white bait or shrimps. So i'm thinkin my dad's fly rod and...... well this is where i need help wot do i use???
