alternative to boilies

i just been talking to a guy in my local tackle shop and he told me that he has been trying grapes for hook baits..

 

just wondering has anyone tried them if so how did you get on??????

Not Grapes, but have tried: Jelly tots, malteasers (pop ups..dont last long), wine gums, strawberrys and even cherry tomatoes. Trouble is that I usually end up eating all my bait.... I dont seem to do that with boilies. You just dont know until you try..!!!

I remember hearing Kevin Nash tried Grapes for a experiment and he was convinced he was onto a winner and bated with them but he never caught on them! Josh
