New Spectre floats

After reading about these new Spectre floats,I waited with great expectations,the arrival of the ones I had purchased and they arrived last saturday morning in time for me to try them over the week-end.

Regretfully,I am very disappointed with them,they sit far too low in the water for my liking,leaving only about half an inch at the most above water,this may be great if fishing the margins on a totally wind still day but at any other time it seems impossible to judge if there is any fish interested in ones bait.

They are not cheap and I expected something better.

Just to add,I tied a size 14 hook to these floats and baited with a lob worm,the float completely disappeared from view.
