OI OI,

would it be worth carrying small wire cutters for barbed hook's in skin, i do even though i use barbles hooks there still in there from my pike fishing trial's just a thought ;)

 

I agree with merlino bill, plus a diagram and instruments on how to remove an imbedded hook!

A pair of snips has got to be the first one,followed by pliers and a can of Millers :sun:

 

Been there got the t-shirt :headhurt: A size 14 Blue Zulu in the ear,a size 8 Orange dog nobbler in the arm, a Yozuti Aile Magnet embedded in my scalp :(

 

Minor probs :)

 

A quick tip - for small hooks anyway. If snips are to hand simply push the hook all the way through and then snip it.
