Best UK Ocean Fishing Spots

Hi guys and gals,

Nice to be part of this interesting forum. I don't know whether you have many foreign members on this forum, but I'm from down South (Africa) where our surf fishing is awesome. I'm coming over to the UK in October this year and was wondering if anybody can point me to the best (or better) known spots for good surf fishing. I haven't as yet fixed my itenerary so I'm easy as to where I park off for some good fishing. Any recommendations?

Mostly UK folk here but we do have some furrin fellers (including me). SA, OZ, India, US, and the occasional person from elsewhere.

Welcome to the forum, there is one problem trying to come up with a surf beach to match yours back home

 

Here in South Wales we have a number of good surf beaches by by UK standards, plenty of bass with one or two good ones if your on a blue patch
