NTZ in Wales

Meetings going on at the moment to discuss a first Welsh 'No Take Zone' around the already protected island of Skomer in West Wales. Decision to be made on Friday if agreement can be achieved. Read all about it on:

It is a start in the right direction, let us hope it actually goes through.

Are anglers going to be fazed out when they retire or die from the desgnated area, bit unfair if not don't you think.

I thought the idea of including anglers was good; we need some areas where there is no fishing whatsoever.

We already have about 700sq miles of NTZ's in the north sea, they are called oil rigs, all with a mile exclusion zone and with a man made reef in the middle.
