Freezing Rag or Lug

Some days I cannot give a worm away and it always seems to be a waste to throw it away after either hard work or cash being used to gain it.

 

I have tried keeping rag for a few days in a OLD fridge on low, that works with rag but not lug.

 

It has a small ice box and I tried freezing some lug and ended up with a swamp on defrosting.

 

The rag was not a great success either.

 

Is there a method for this activity??

Hi Ken

There has been previous posts on keeping ragworm alive. Put in a search and all will be revealed.

 

Lugworm needs to be gutted before freezing.
