Help Needed RE an IP Address

Probably should be in tech forum, but I need an answer pdq, if poss.

 

The board has been swamped by 'something' with an IP of 219.139.176.25

 

If you look at the 'visitor' count, which is uaually accurate, it went up to 1600+ today because of this 'thing'.

 

I've blocked it for now, but does anyone know what it is?

Just found out it's something to do with Chinanet. Quite what, I don't know.

Running tracert on it comes up with china-telecom.net along the route.

It's definitely something Chinese, and blocking it appears to have worked.

 

If it was a legitimate search engine spider, it would have been nice to have accomoddated it, but it's now 11pm, World's Wildest Police Videos is about to start on Channel 5 and I really can't be bothered

i think its these guys, just some other search bot, stick it in yer robots. i like the part where they say responsible internet resource, 1000+ bots aint that responsible, unless someone using that to try overload yer server
