ferret,if you need a bootable rescue/utility disk i have several different ones,from my own simple one (cd version of my boot floppy) to barts p/e to hirens to my Erd [commander] disk and techies toolkit ,"ulimate boot disks" plus verious others that will boot a dead system/run verious tools,remove user/system passwords , run diagnostic's and some that re-install ntdlr files ect and at least two dvd/multi-boot disks projects (abandoned 9x & xp multi-installers/utillities disks ).i could mail you one,but it might not arrive untill next year !! ( due to x-mass post )
