hi , after playing on a few computer games i am after a game which is like age of empires but its more modern so you control an army with modern guns and tanks ?

Why not give the Command and Conquer series a go? or if your pc is up to it try Company of Heroes, it's fantastic.

Sort of, have a look at the link i provided or try this one http://www.companyofheroesgame.com, it has videos/screenshots of in game footage.

 

Command and Conquer is more like Age of Empires in terms of game play and if your PC isn't capable of playing Company of Heroes then it's probably your best bet.

If you`ve a decent broadband connection, you could do alot worse than to subscribe to Metaboli.They have all the games mentioned on here so far plus loads more.I`ve been a subscriber for a year, and have found it excellent value for money.
