Fished Southampton Water Today with Darnsarf.Launched at Hythe Marina at 1130

fished quite a few marks ending up at one of DS's favourites where I caught six Bass and at least ten whiting :thumbs:

Paddled back an hour or so after darkness fell totally content after another enjoyable day on the water :clap2:

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

Looks like some good fishing out there. As i live in Salisbury thats probably the closest bit of coast for me. Is it easy to find the fish holding areas or is it all about local knowledge?

Mostly local knowledge---if you want to know the marks you'll have to come with us next time. :thumbs:

were the whiting of any size?

two were about 1lb the rest were pin :thumbs:

Nice one lads , did Darnsarf catch on his floats!! Going to be blowing a bit for starvins comp!! Tackle all ready and my latest ebay order just popped through the door - those little chem packs which keep your feet toastie for 6 hours :thumbs:
