web pages wont load full size ?

Let me girlfriends sister use my computer and now when i go from one web page to another, the page comes up in the middle of the screen about 3inches by 6" and i have to keep using the maximize feature, which is a pain. How do i get it back to normal, ie pages loading full size ? Got windows xp.

Close all browser windows

Right click on the browser icon

Select Properties

Then you`ll see a window like the one below

 

 

Select "Maximised" from the "Run:" drop down list

Click the Apply Button

Click the OK button

Open the browser to see if its worked
