Hello all,

 

I've finally decided it's time to invest in a match seat box and am unsure what criteria I should be considering. I fish mostly with a pole nowadays and usually at the 11-13 metre length. However, I do also have occasion to use the feeder.

 

Can anyone offer some tips from your experiences which will help me with my buying decision?

How much do you want to spend and how far are you from wigan? As in think Tiggers got a nice one for sale.

I've just bought a milo box myself after several months of looking, trying and generally poking them all in tackle shops.

 

Yes its fairly heavy... but that's what trolleys are for eh?

Yes its well built, aluminium construction pop rivetted so fairly easily repairable.

Yes spares are available on ebay for hinges catches etc...

Yes you can use preston on (off?) box accessories with the little red leg inserts.

Am I happy with it... Yes

 

I have already added a brolly arm and arm for my clever claw, wish I had a sliding step plate though, may have to part with more dosh.
