all my leashes are car phone chargers with both ends cut off then loops formed and held with a zip tie.one end is attached to rod or paddle etc simply by putting one loop through the other then i little insulation tape around and the other end one to one of the karabenas on the yak.so simple and because they are coiled wire they are short and only cost 20p-a quid at my local carboot(a bit piky i know but a good laugh) yakmad

Yakmad that is a really good idea, I've looked for that coiled stuff everywhere.
