Well yer tiz.

Aaron and I went out on the Exe Estuary this morning, only for a couple of hours.

We were on the beach for about 08.00, no mist but a chilly wind.

Aaron has been out on the yaks before, but not fishing, so it was all a bit new.

After setting up, we paddled across to Starcross, on the other side of the Estuary.

Found a couple of mooring bouys with pick ups, and tied off.

Unfortunately we only had frozen crab, the fresh stuff we ordered, didnt turn up.

Not long after we tied off, a small cabin cruser anchored off about 50 yards away.

We were there for about three hours, no fish, from the Kayaks, or from the boat, but it was nice being out there.

Took a nice leisurely paddle back to shore for hot coffee and an egg and bacon bap.

Hi Bill,

Looks like you had a good morning out. Glad to see it wasn't too windy.

Nice to see you had a big orange safety boat on stand-by in the first photo ! ;)

Hope to see you soon,

Cheers,

Hi Flumpy.

Yes it is fun on the Kayaks.

Couple of links here for you to look at, lots of detailed info to read up on, and a good insight into the sport.

Plus some great pics to browse.
