Used the new tackle shop in Brightlingsea today . Fresh bait and terminal tackle.

 

Fresh Lug - Nice Worms, good storage.

 

For info:

 

Closed on Mondays (except bank Holidays 7am to 5pm)

Tuesday to Friday 9am - 4:30pm

Saturday 7am - 5pm

Sunday 7am - 4pm

Pre-ordered bait can be collected by prior arrangement

:clap2: Just wants the anglers to support it so as it doesn't close like many have this year. It's been a very hard year for tackle shops and charter boats so they need our help if we want to keep them. :clap2:

Thanks for letting us know. A few people from here launch from Brightlingsea (even I've been known to accompany them), so that's really handy information.

 

Now, if we can just get the guy who takes the launch fees to charge us all the same amount...... ;)

Brightlingsea is not a big place? . . . but an address would help? . . . saves the poor guy keep answering the phone, he may be busy serving a customer, counting lugworm??? what a wast of time counting worm!!! When I went to Wales a few years back they weighed black lug.

 

At £18 per hundred, each one rarely bigger than my little finger, I'm not into lugworm baits!
