sorry guys, just thought i would pull some legs,

 

The problem with doing that is the large number of newish anglers who read the forums (most don't post but do read).

 

Bad advice that is left alone comes across as good advice and advice (even said as a joke) that could easily result in dead or damaged fish is not likely to be left alone.

 

You will get much the same sort of reaction if you post in support of fishing without a license.
