A12 Cuton lakes near Chelmsford

I'm thinking of fishing these lakes later in the week with my son. They seem a bit noisy as they are so close to the A12, and a bit smelly as they are often downwind of the sewage works! Still think I'll give them a go. Anybody fished here?

Driven past them a lot, but never fished them! Can't help I'm afraid but I'd be interested to hear how you get on!

From one Paul to another....try www.essex-fishing.co.uk. Its a site for mainly essex based fishing . They may have reports on it or someone on the forum may have fished it.

Thanks Paul, I've seen the site you suggest already. There's some decent info., but nothing very current.

 

Mat - will keep you posted of how we get on, if we do go.
