Possible small boats weekend, West of Scotland

If I just happened to say...................what about a small boats weekend on the West Coast on 11/12 August, who'd be interested in bringing their vessel along?

 

Option A - Launch from Saltcoats harbour and fish around Pladda at the south end of Arran (15 miles away).

 

Option B - Lochaline. Ferry slipway, camping, hostel and hotel nearby. Fantastic fishing including skate, but a 120 mile drive from Glasgow including 10 sh1tty miles on the A82 from Tarbet to Inverarnan.

 

Would anyone be interested in making this a fundraiser for the RNLI? If so, how would we best approach the fundraising? I may have the possibility of donated prizes from a large tackle co.

 

I've posted here initially just to gauge the interest.

Sorry Tickety sounds brill but bad date for the good ship catchalot we aint gonna be around then, will be in other fishing grounds.

I may be interested as i have been thinking of having a run up that way, though i would be sailing the boat up from whitehaven,,,, if i havent any booking for them two days plus two days either side of those,,, i shall have a go
