The Elasticated Method! HELP ! please

ok, i bought some elasticated method feeders.....ive snapped off the elastic , so now do i just run my main line through the hole at the bottom and out the other end and attach it to a swivel then attach the hook rig to the other end of the swivel...

 

also shall i put a shot at the other end of the main line so that when the carp take the hook and the feeder goes back that it doesnt go to far up the line?

On the left hand side of this page, in the menu, click on carp rigs and look at the inline lead set up, your feeder works just the same, no need for shot.
