Thanks for the comments everyone.

A recent podcast of this coastline is available here.

Devon Exile - I've launched from Lulworth and headed up to Durdle Door but haven't made the full trip up to Ringstead and onto Weymouth - I'm sure I will at some point although would like to fish Lulworth Banks first.

Nice one Simon, hope to try a mini version of that when I've got the girlfriend with me on holiday. Must be great to just keep drifting down the coast and not worry about having to paddle back.

That second fish under the water looks decent. Top stuff

Excellent report Simon  .

Didn't manage any fish during our short trip, despite a few drops over the bream mark. Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and weather though.

Can't wait for the next opportunity to get out there.

Great read Simon :)

Would be great to do something similar over maybe a week - self propelled, self sufficient ( no popping into the CO-OP on the way back to the campsite ).

Really whet my appetite :P

How did I miss this post. Glad I seen it from the UKRGB.

Fantastic trip there Simon and an inspiration to get out there.

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

Well done GB, I had missed that too.

Cracking report Simon, thanks for sharing that with us.

I guess that if things looked as if they were going to turn nasty you could beach at Chapmans Pool and haul the yak up the path towards Worth Matravers............though the mere thought of that walk dragging a Yak with all that kit is exhausting (it's not much fun travelling light).
