Hi Simon,

 

The Paddle Round the Pier is a huge watersports charity fundraising event that i co-organise here in Sussex. For the first time we have made it a beach festival. We raise money for the RNLI, The Rockinghorse Appeal (local childrens hospital) and SurfAid International.

 

There are many events held over the weekend and full details can be seen at www.paddleroundthepier.com including a video from last years event.

 

I invented the Beach Fishing Open for this year as a way of incorporating anglers like myself into the fun and raising more charity funds. The reason i posted details in the yak forum is that the top prize in the raffle is a brand new Perception Fishing yak (See poster on the photograph. I thought some of you guys would like to win a shiney new bit of kit.
