Decided last minute to go to Flamborough North Landing today. Got there at 11am and tide was getting near top. Sea was very calm with virtually no wind. It was raining quite heavily but stopped after about an hour. We only fished a couple of hundred yds off the landing and were quickly into fish. First drop 3 mackeral :clap2: .... second ... 4 mackeral  ..... third .... yet more bloody mackies .. <_<

Change of tactics i decided to change the hokkis to a single 3oz weighted fish lure with triples. First drop got a Cod of 4lb... nice i thought. Dropped again and another 3lb Cod .... etc ..etc ..

Steve was well in too with loads of Coley , mackies , Codling etc ..

After about 3 hrs i got a biggish hit on my single lure and landed a Big 7.8lb Cod ... it was huge ..!

All in all we got over 50 fish of all descriptions but only kept the best bigguns and a mackie ....

Forgot my camera and my ruddy kayak seat so wasnt off to a good start but the fish make up for my backache i got .. took the pics when we got back ....
