Big fish how to catch on bridgewater?

I`m a very keen fisherman and want to know how to catch big fish on bridgewater canal how far should i fish out from the bank what bait? Plz help me.

It would be helpful if you told us what species you're after - this may be the reason you haven't yet had a reply. Whilst we may not have members who fish this water, I'm sure we could then give you some advice.

I had to look twice, no 'E' in the Somerset one, as you would know
