Im fishing Oxwich on the 31st if the weathers not bad (looks ok on metcheck )

 

Anyone fancy it ?

 

 

I might join you, what sort of fishing are you planning to do?

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

Drifting with ammo sandeel / live mackeral trolling lures

 

Might try for some plaice or if the weather ok try St Christopers knoll.

 

A bit of everything :)

 

I will get the weekend over with and see what work I get landed with. I gotta shoot up to Bristol Monday night but should be back home at a reasonable hour.

 

Will let you know Monday afternoon.

Great day for fishing just not that many fish about today , fished around the point today , With about 4 boats and they werent catching much.

Caught plenty of dog fish small pollock and a codling which I wasnt expecting off Oxwich.

No bass :( did see two caught by one of the boats.

Also saw some dolphins, but they were too quick to photo

what sort of depths was you fishing in ?

 

 

Hi Lloydus I was fishing any where from 14ft - 40ft depending on how far out I was.

 

Its worth having a fishfinder fitted if fishing down the Gower as there are a lot of drop offs and pinnacles. Take some of the guess work out of it.
