I bought a eckla trolley yesterday, the scupper hole type and having a few probems. I have an prowler 13 old type with small scupper holes. The trolley only fits through the front holes in the cockpit. But it doesn't really seem to work properly. I can't get the trolley to sit straight and it seems to sit at a angle of about 20 degrees. is this normal ?? bit worried that its going to break kayak. seems to be putting alot of the weight on the scupper holes not the rubber sleeves. Just seaching some online maps of my local area, can't find any guides. what are the depths eg 52. Are they in metres or feet ? I understand this depth is at low water. Can high water depths be worked out ? cheers

I think you may as well buy a small fishing boat if you want a motor. Probably be cheaper in the long run adding up everything I've spent so far on the kayak.

Well done. Just been scanning the map thats equal to fishing st brides, newport on the welsh side. Thats pretty good going considering the how strong and scary the current is around here. Some cracking cod fishing to look forward to later this year

Maybe different with course fishing with wildlife but can't see any reason why a ban is needed. No way can they inforce it with sea fishing. Sounds silly

Good luck with that. Went last year, thought it was overpriced for what it was, very little on show, loads of screaming kids. But seen my first fishing kayak which led me to buy one so well worth it!
