............ keep cutting out??????????? Totally random, sometimes it stays on for 10-15 mins others it's just a few mins. The LCD display remains on so it's not a power supply thing. If I turn it off for a few mins it'll be ok when I turn it back on but then die again minutes later. Could it be a weak signal thing????? if so it's a tad wierd cos I've taken it fishing to various locations and still it happens. Get's very frustrating when y'listening to the footy and y'keep missing the goals.

One good reason to do something is better than a thousand bad excuses not to.

Well mine has never cut out - are you sure it's not just plain faulty ? Or the batteries getting low as they run out very quickly in my experience.

Rob.

........ nah, not the batteries cos it does it when plugged into mains too!!!! possibly just faulty and 1 yr warrantee has run out too.

Sounds like dud batteries. When you switch it off, the battery voltage will rise slightly and that might just get it above the point where the logic starts to work again. Are you using rechargeables by any chance? They might not be the right voltage. AA alkalines are 1.5V but AA rechargeables are only 1.2V, so for example if your radio uses four you are only giving it 4.8V instead of 6V. My old camera just wouldn't work on rechargeables (so it's now in a skip!)

I was too slow :)
