Anchoring mistake

whats the recommended (safest) way of attaching a rescue knife to a PFD IE on a lanyard / direct to

a ring or kept in a pocket ? (visions of trying to free myself from huge ball of spaghetti !)

You want it in a fixed position on your vest so it is easy to grab in an emergency :thumbs:

My pouch comes with a clip at the rear and there is a place on my PFD in front of the left pocket to attach the clip.I have also added a cable tie for good measure.(not that it will stop me losing them!!! :rolleyes: )
