Hi all, can any garmin FF users put some pics up of how they have fitted their transducers inside please. I have searched forums and found a couple of posts on people putting cable through hatches etc because the garming plug is about 1" diameter !!! and has anyone cut their before as it says you should not but if I did it properly with marine connections would this be ok ? do you know how many wires there is in one ?

btw its a Garmin 90 I have

i am not familiar with that particular plug, but would it not be possible to carefully remove the wires from the plug and then pass the wire through a much smaller hole and then reconnect the wires.

Its a sealed plug and would definatly be better to cut a lot further away so the connection was inside yak but thanks for replying
