Hi AJX,

 

You might want to buy some Mackerel feathers too.

 

They are cheap and also simple. You can buy them ready rigged so you just tie them to the main line and tie a lead on the other end. Good for Pollack, Sometimes Bass, and other species too.

 

Quite good fun to play with on one rod whilst waiting for the other to go screaming off!
