MS Word Pad

I have a problem with one document in Word Pad, all the other documents are working fine.

 

The problem is that every time I hit the Enter/Return key, the cursor drops down two spaces.

 

Does anyone know how to correct this please ?

Is this document something that you've copied and pasted from a website?

Yes, its a lot of addresses I have copied and pasted from websites.

It looks like you have retained the formatting from the website(s).

 

You could either:

 

Go back to the website(s), copy the text that you require, and then Edit>Paste Special>Unformatted Text in WordPad;

 

or you could try:

 

In your existing document, go to the start of each line that you require single spacing, hold down the Control Key, and press 1.
