winter bait for commercial

can anyone suggest a good winter bait for my local lake which has crusians,perch,tench,bream,roach,rudd and goldfish.i have tried a fair bit of diff baits and tend to change quickly,would this be a mistake for being inpatient. :rolleyes:

you could try to flavour sweet corn with scopex for the hook bait but don't loose feed with it. instead throw in 3M Green lipped muscle pellets they break down better than trout pellets in the winter. This should attract the fish but with out filling them up.

Or maggots, red, white, flavoured; find out which one works best.

Certainly maggots should be top of the agenda. Don't be put off by catching small fish, keep feeding and plugging away and the bigger ones will bully the small stuff out.

To pick up a bonus fish, also worth trying a fluoro pinkie over the top of loose fed red maggots.

ringers bag up expander pellets or chopped worm should do the trick m8
