Thanks for your reply Jon. No, not a PAC member but looks like something I should entertain. Hopefully I'll catch up with you on Tuesday and you can give me a few pointers.

 

The PAC is a great organisation and at present is being well run by one of the best commitees in a long timer.Well worth joining even only if its for the excellent Pikelines mag and their superb forum.

 

Getting in with your local Regions events is also a great way to both meet other pikers in your area and learn more.

Wow what a night, Andy you did us proud. That had to be one of the best if not the best talk I have ever seen. The talk was obviously from the heart, had the right mix of knowledge and laughter, not to mention history attached to it. Spot on mate, there will be plenty more to do in the near future no doubt

It was good to meet a number of you, and my thanks to all of you who took the time and effort to attend / support the region. However special thanks has to go to Mr Frost. Not only did Andy take a couple of days off work but drove the 320 mile round trip and proceeded to refuse ANY expences / fuel money etc.

I quote Andy in saying ' it's my way of putting back into the sport '. He asked me to put any extra money towards Pete's charity. Theres not many around as charitable as that these days, hats off to you bud.
