Tackling the Trent

TrevBoy

Recommended Posts

I took up fishing again only recently, and spent most of last year (when it wasn't in flood) getting back into the sport on local ponds. However, with the Trent on my door step I feel I must be missing out on some action there too.

Trouble is, its a very big piece of water, and tackling it seems a bit daunting to me. Much as I love float fishing, the depth and the strong flow put me of a bit.

How would you suggest I get some confidence in river fishing on such a big river?
