pole elastic

I have a badger telescopic pole and am going to replace the elastic but do not no what number elastic to replace it with help

Depends on what you're targeting. I'd doubt if it would cope with more than an 8 and 6 would be safer anyway. That said if you're only fishing for small roach, perch and gudgeon etc. then a 4 would be more suitable. I can only find details on their whips which aren't usually elasticated anyway but fitted with a flick-tip instead.

I have had it about 5 years all i know is the elastic is white i use it to fish my local canal that holds

Roach, Bream, Carp, Tench, Chub, Perch, Gudgeon

In that case I'd go for a 6. It'll be a little light for any larger carp and a little heavy for the gudgeon and the smaller roach and perch but probably the best overall choice.
