Hiya,Just to back this up, I was at Haddington today, it was lovely,window open,shades on etc, just like a summers day.Yet,a couple of miles up the road in Dalkeith, BRRR,like a mini winter.

In sleep every dog dreams of food,and I, a fisherman,dream of fish..

between me and my mate we got 1 good mullet three golden greys and a few very small bass.

Golden greys, are you sure? Their distribution is reputed to be limited to the South coast(of England....)

been getting them here for years. There is also a scottish record (8 oz ish)

anyone thinking of going to torness this weekend may want to not bother. concord is staying there today and tomorrow untill 9 pm when it will be moved to east fortune. security at torness is to be be very strict and the chances of being allowed near the place may be slim.
