I have some fishing lures ect from years ago and not sure what they are or if they are worth anything

The way forward with this would be to post up some photographs if posible as without them it's literally a case of the proverbial needle in a haystack. Over the year there have been many, many thousands of different lures available for purchase.

Most have vanished into oblivion or at best are of interest only as 'users' and therefore not seen as being of any great value.

That said, there is a thriving market for all collectible stuff that is angling-related, including peple who are avid lure collectors, but everything depends upon what the lures are, and their condition. It's likely that most are worth a modest sum to someone, but there are lures around that sell at a price easily into 3 figures if in good condition.

I don't profess to being an expert at all, though I've enjoyed lure fishing for almost 40 years now, so it's likely I'll be able to recognise at least some of them unless they are extremely unusual or pre-date me :-) ... no doubt there are others on this site who will chip in two, if pictures arrive!
