Hi guys

 

new member just joined today and interested to see what the site has to offer. I am based near Peterborough, lived here for nearly 10-years and never once yet fished the Nene! This is about to change (Thursday actually) when I will be going with a friend and trying a couple of areas he frequents. I have mainly fished the Ouse and Ivel for Barbel and Chub, but my attentions have very much changed now as I want to do more Zander and Pike fishing, along with the Chub. I am also very interested to look at the carp populations in the Nene as well.

 

My first port of call is likely to be around Nassington / Yarwell, and then probably looking to explore around Oundle and Elton over the last part of the season - hopefully I will meet some of you on the banks for a chat between now and the end of the season.

I'd suggest saving the carping until warmer weather but pike & zander should provide some good Winter sport.
