what is the best water colour for rivers i find the thames fishes well with quit a bit of colour in it i fish a lake as well the river flows in to it when the river flows in the lake from the flooded river it dosent seem to make the fish in the lake feed any better or worse does anyone else fish a lake that the river flows into

I like to fish a river when the colour is just starting to clear after a really heavy spate.

barney66 the marina is the same as the lake you describe and after a spell for the fish to aclimatise i find the Predators along with the silverfish and the Bream are happy to feed ,Take it you are talking about the lake at Child Beale ? is the net across the entrance stopping fish movement? if so then the fish off the river that improve sport by moving into the sheltered waters of the lake cannot so doubt that you will see the improvement in sport/ numbers of fish steve.

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:
